German map of Southeast England on a scale of 1:250000, 110 x 82 cm, printed in colours, blank verso. Based on the 1935 edition of the Ordnance Survey, this German map was first issued in 1940 and revised and updated to August 1941. Overprinted in red and purple with a range of possible targets or sites of interest, including barracks, radio transmitters, munitions storage, hospitals, cultural monuments and stables. Further text in the margins gives additional detail, for example about the Marconi headquarters (BB30) and the Medway refineries and Manston airfield (both BB40).
