UERL 1913 London Underground Map

Underground Map of London / Map of London Underground Electric Railways, what to see and how to see it

In stock

12 panel passenger map of the London underground, June 1913, 28 x 35.5 cm, printed in colours, light wear to folds, a couple of small holes in top left panel, passenger information printed on the verso, covers dusty.

This design breaks with the green-bordered UERL maps which had evolved over the previous five years or so, showing a much greater geographical area with relative accuracy. The Central London and City & South London railways had become part of the Underground Group, and services were being run further into the suburbs.
