    In his preface to the book itself, Sandford notes ‘that Gray was in favour of illustrations... and it is very clear that Gray was one of those who appreciate the productions of the Private Press’.

    Number 22 of 750 copies, specially bound (as only nos.1-80 were), 8vo. (19 x 13 cm), pp. 22. Set in Caslon Old Face on Arnold’s mould-made paper, with 9 wood engravings by Gwenda Morgan (including title-page vignette and headpiece), 6 full page.

    Original pictorial green morocco gilt by Sangorski and Sutcliffe, upper cover decorated with an urn, lower cover with a harp, top edge gilt, slipcase, a little sunned.
