Modern half calf, gilt, retaining the original marbled paper boards, slightly rubbed; ownership signature dated 1800 partially obliterated on front free end-paper. Robert Andrews (1723-1766) was a presbyterian minister and poet, chiefly remembered for this blank verse translation of Virgil. Gaskell, Baskerville, 32
