A Mapp of ye County of Lincolne. London, 1673.
Copper engraving, 33 x 27 cm, original hand-colour, blank verso; map of Lincolnshire. Blome published the first new series of county maps since Speed, and in the straightened financial environment of post-Restoration London he had to reply on innovative funding sources: he was one of the first publishers of illustrated books to rely heavily on subscriptions, and subscribers to the Britannia were entitled to have their armorial bearings (Blome began his career as a heraldic painter) engraved on a map of their choice.
