Red publisher’s morocco, extremities rubbed and worn, blocked in gilt with brass clasp, named to J. Fitzsimons, Esq. (lettered direct on the front cover). Fitzsimons was a District Goods Manager for the London and North Western Railway, based at Lancaster (entry 238, p. 198).
