Condition & Materials

Lithographed folding map, 70 x 58 cm, dissected into 21 panels (including extension to include the tip of Cornwall), original hand colour in outline, and differentiating between completed railways and those under construction or proposed; folding into original green pebble-cloth covers with printed publisher’s paper label, with advertisements for Cheffins’ lithographic printing office and other maps by the same publisher on the pastedown and panel facing the pastedown. Minor wear and signs of use to both map and covers.
