This copy was sold at Sotheby's rooms in 1986 for £260 plus buyer's premium.
Condition & Materials
Presentation copy, inscribed to Waugh's close friends Lord David and Rachel Cecil: "For David & Rachel / from / Evelyn / with love". Gilt lettering on spine faded, otherwise a very good copy, lacking the dustwrapper.
