This map charting the course of the River Mole, a tributary of the Thames, was engraved by Nathaniel Whittock after James Robert Thompson and published in the first volume of Edward Wedlake Brayley's five volume Topographical history of the County of Surrey.
Condition & Materials
Steel engraving, printed area measures approx 24 x 39 cm. Original hand colour to roads and river, old folds, blank verso. Tabbed for binding into a book.
